About This Project

Computers are slowly climbing the levels of understanding natural language. Now, they can read and understand most English, but only in a superficial sense. Relationships between words is understood but the more abstract ideas remain invisible to computers. I'm aiming to help computers take this step by developing a way for computers to find the answer to questions posed in natural language. This involves translating them into an intermediate form which can then be used as a query for a large database of knowledge, such as Freebase.
